Hi teachers,
I have a question, please. I want to know whether the following are correct, and which is the most natural statement in each group. If there isn't, provide me one, please.
G1. (To express running down)
1.He descend the stairs quickly.
2.He descend the stairs fast.
2.He ran down the stairs.
G2. (To express running up)
1.He climbed the stairs fast.
2.He climbed the stairs quickly.
2.He ran up the stairs.
G3. (To express walking normally)
He walked upstairs.
He walked downstairs.
Notice, in the G2, when I use the verb"climbed" I don't mean to climb the stairs the same way we climb a ladder. Is it OK to use "climbed" with "stairs" in this situation?
Moonrise G1. He descend the stairs fast. He ran down the stairs.
