Where you live, is this an unusual achievement?
In Canada, it is not unusual to have 100 applications for one job. So, in Canada I would not bother to include a fact like this in my resume.

Hi, Clive. Don't get me wrong. It's just a careless hypothesis. In fact, it's quite usual to have over 100 or 1000 applications for one job in China. But i think acceptance rate as low as 1% is competitive already.
