How to express a range of things

If I don't know the lower and upper limits of an age range, can I express it this way?

(1) The ages of our club members range from their 20's to their 50's.

(2) The ages of our club members range from under 30 to over 60.

They are both acceptable if you delete the apostrophes in 20's and 50's .
