How to express [a + b + c = 3]?

Hello,Could I do the expression this way :The augend “a” to which b and c added equals 3?Or the augend is made to the addition of b and c and equals 3?Thank you for your help. or a plus b plus c is / equals 3?

In the the arithmetical equation A+B=C, "A" is the augend, "B" is the addend, and "C" is the sum. The augend plus the addend equals the sum. or The augend added to the addend equals the sum.

I have never heard the term "augend" in my life, and neither has my daughter, who has studied a lot more math than I have. (When I learned math, in "a+b=c" both a and b were called "addends.")

If you want to express "a+b+c=3" in words, the natural way is "a plus b plus c equals 3."
