How to distinguish these words?

Hello !
I'm reading an Engineering Standard in English recently, but there are some words which seem the same to me.I don't know what's the difference between them. The words are:
"fabrication " and "manufacture"
"wear" and "abrasion"
"purpose" and "objective"
there are all nouns.
I am gratefull to everybody who explains them! Thank you!
