How to describe this situation

How to describe this situation in a better way? If I want to say someone is working both night and day shifts at the same time, e.g., their scheduled to work in the day 3 days a week and the rest of the four days their working overnight shifts. How do I put it so that its shorter and better. E.g. I was going to put it "He's working two types of shifts at the same time," but it's obviously not clear.

Thanks so much

Hi, I'd just say eg He's working an odd shift schedule. eg He's working day shifts and night shifts in the same week. In some countries, there are labour laws that regulate such matters.
