How to describe this?

Recently my lips starts to swell. If I want to say that the swelling in my lips is not too huge but yet not little (it's mid-level) and that it is noticeable, do I say "The swelling in my lips are not extreme. It's moderate and noticeable." Are those good adjectives to use and is it a good way to describe it?

Thanks so much.
