How to describe matching?

I am doing matching between an item from (A) with each item from (B).

Is it right to say:

"If matching is found in any point, the process will be terminated"

or it is better to say it like that

"Whenever matching is found, the process will be terminated"

Does "in any point" = "Whenever"?
