how to cure this itch

Hi,

Whenever i see adjectives like 'maximum' or 'correct', I have an urge/itch to put articles in front of them, either 'a' or 'the' depending on the situation, I guess, but it seem it is correct not to put articles for the sentences below. Do you have some good explantion as to why this comes about and how to alleviate and possibly cure this itch?

How about it I turn it into a countable? Is my effort good here? Turned into one based on types and in degree?

Can it also be: It is the correct usage of articles.

Then, can I make it like this? Turned into one by a particular instance of it?
