How to correctly write this sentence?

Hi. I think the phrase "as well as" can function either as a prepositional phrase or as a conjunction, and I think for the example sentences below, it functions as a prepositional phrase. (I could be wrong.)

I think numbers 1 and 2 notes the use of the definite article "the" due to the restrictiveness of the "of-phrase" afterward. I think we don't have to put the definite article before the word "support" for number 2 since we have the definite article in number 1 (thus reasonably think the article in no. 1 extends to no. 2 too). But I believe number 3 doesn't have the element of restrictiveness and doesn't need to have the definite article "the" in front of it. If what I said makes sense, is this correctly written? Thank you for your anticipated help.

Their analysis of his current situation reveals that Jim needs 1) the support of John Doe, 2) support of Jane Doe as well as 3) support from his close relatives.

Their analysis of his current situation reveals that Jim needs (the) support of John Doe, Jane Doe and his close relatives. There's no need for repetition there. The first "the" can be omitted.
