how to coordinate two relative clauses?

First example contains which-omitted coordination. Second one has coordination which contains the relative pronoun. Which is more suitable for academic writing?

An alternative solution which , and is compatible with the current framework, and is free from the previous problems is required.

or

An alternative solution which , and is compatible with the current framework, and which is free from the previous problems is required.
