How to combine sentences by that?

Hi.
I have some question about how to combine sentences by that?

For example.
I was waiting for movie. A movie is opened last 2 weeks.
I think it should be like this.
The movie that was waiting opened last 2 weeks.
But the book's answer is used had been waiting..
But I don't know why does it did?

Unfortunately what you have written does not make sense. Here is an example that does: I was waiting for a bus. The bus never arrived.

Thanks GPY.
For example
We had been waiting for the movie. The movie that we had been waiting for opened last week.
Book's a answer is like this.
The movie that we had been waiting for opened last week.
But I think that it should be like this.
The movie that we were waiting for opened last week. (Not had been waiting)

So I have one more question.

Neither of those sentences is grammatical. You need:

I have been waiting for a movie.
The movie has been showing for two weeks,

The sentences are now OK, but the meaning is strange. If the movie has been showing for two weeks, why haven't you been to see it bef
