How to combine many small sentences into one

A salesman from Mr. X company came to our office. His name was "Clante". I directed him to meet you.

In the first place, are these sentences correct?

If correct, how can I combine these three sentences into one? For me, writing a sentence with four words sound weird.

Thanks Califjm for the tips.

Here it is :

A person named Clanted from X company came to our office where I directed to meet you.

Is this correct? It looks like I can replace "where" with "whom" also in the sentence. Can't I?

CJ suggested a 'when' clause. 'Directed to meet' is odd, and I am not sure what you mean by it.

Thanks Mister Micawber.

Here is the revised version.

"When a person named Clante came to our office, I directed him to meet you." Is this correct?

I mean "I guided the guy a way to Mr. Y's office to whom he want to meet".
