How to classify the following nouns?

I'm wondering how to classify the following nouns. Are they abstract nouns? Can I classify job and experience as "activity"? Is condition an idea? Please help.

A non-abstract noun, as I understand it, is something you can pick up in your hands, like an apple. So all six nouns are apparently abstract, since you can't pick any of them up in your hands. "Example"is a little tricky because you might say that an apple is an example of a fruit, and you can pick up an apple in your hands.

They are all abstract, but you continue with questions about 'activity' and 'idea', so it appears that we'll need to know what sort of classification system you are using.
