How to being a great nation?

Unfortunately, in the course of history the keadership had been supported by force.

But I hope that thenext world leader, if there is any, will be the first among the equals. Or it would be good if thert were a kind of world parliament and only one country.

The main factor in this case is the highly developed science and technology.

i agree that the main factor is highly developed science and technology but i think that other country's sympathy is very important as well,

the world won't let a country lead the world which has big disagreements with the USA or the country's from the EU. The nation can't become a leader without any help these country's.

Neither will it be possible without the approval of the greatest nations of Asia. (I mean China and India)

So I doubt that there will be a real leader of the world!

If someone invent something with high technology,(invent something new and people in the world all use it)Like Micrsoft", actually he (Bill Gates) has already controls the world economy.And his country will be a very rich(America).And world people also need America,So America is a great nation now.

But if what you invent is good enough,and well known,you even don't worry about thesefollow country.it is simple to understand----

Why not?The world is a family,each country just the family member,So share to each other is the most basic etiquette in the world,and the most important thing-------No matter who lead the world.
