How to begin a letter in a really nice way.

Hi everyone,
hope I find you in a good place.

Thing is that this phrase would work in Icelandic, my native tongue but I am wondering if it makes sense in english.

Could you kindly show me some nice phrases to begin a letter in english.

I thank you in forehand for you answers (can you say that?)

Best regards

That's how I'd say it in UK English but, to be honest, it is equally good to be greeted by phrases from other nations. Yours is good (although you need a capital 'H' at the beginning)
