How to avoid repetition

Hi,

How can I avoid repetition in the following sentence?

"Neuropsychiatric diseases or musculoskeletal abnormalities or disorders which cause pain which is not associated with occupational activities were self-reported.

Thanks!

I don't understand the sentence. I can't tell why you have "or" there. But to adress your question, if there are three things reported separated by "or", you could make the last one "disorders causing pain not associated with occupational activities".

I've added the word 'other, because that seems to be what you mean.
