How to avoid repetition

Hi,
How can I change the following sentences to avoid repetition?

"The results of the present study are in line with the findings of Norin et al. (2011). In their study, the intelligibility of English words was tested on 18 subjects with normal hearing, with and without earplugs at various ratios of S/N (-10, 0, +10). In their study, a list of words was played at 65 dB SPL under quiet and two background noise conditions (military vehicle noise and multitalker noise)."

Any other changes needed?
Thanks!

One more question about the original sentence that you corrected:

No, but 'in their study' is repeated later in the text and you wanted to get rid of repetition.
