How to ask a question about a person's height or beauty?

If I know Jack is tall and handsome, can i answer the question that someone asks' How is Jack?' by saying "Jack is tall and handsome''? Or there is a better way to ask about Jack, and then i can tell them the message ' Jack is handsome.'

You can't ask about a person's appearance that way. In fact, people sometimes joke about the literal interpretation of the question:

"How's Jack?"

"Compared to what?"

You have to ask "What does Jack look like?"
