How to ask a question?

This question has been asked umpteen times before. There is no natural word in English for that. You cannot say how manyith president is Obama. You could say, for instance: How many presidents have there been before Obama?

PS If enough people just began to say how manyith, perhaps that would become acceptable before long. After all, virtually everything
