How to ask
I have selected for training course. However they offer accommodation. But i prefer to travel from home. Is it ok if i ask like this? "Can I travel from home?"

Is it a multi-day course? If so, I think it would be clearer to say "Can I travel in each day from home?"

I would write as;
"Hello,
I have been offered an accommodation for the course of my stay in ----(name of town). I am writing to ask whether I can commute from home each day to the training class rather than staying in the provided accommodation.
Thank you"
