How to answer " Would you please..."

I have a question regarding how to reply the following question:

" Would you please acknowledge receipt as requested by XX?"

if i have not done, i will reply as below:

"Yes, i will. "

but if i have already done so, how should i answer the above sentence?

" yes and i have already did so?"

Top answer

" if i have not done, i will reply as below: "Yes, I will. " but if i have already done so, how should i answer the above sentence? " A bit wordy.

  • " if i have not done, i will reply as below: "Yes, I will.
  • " but if i have already done so, how should i answer the above sentence?
  • " A bit wordy.
  • Simply "I already have [sent the acknowledgement]" or "I have [sent the acknowledgement] already" will be fine.
  • The part in [brackets] is implied, although you could say it if you wanted to.
