Dear All,

I am filling in my son's application for year 7, there is one question I don't know how to answer:

It is impossible to judge the precise possibilities in this case, but 'compassion grounds' are 'compassionate reasons' for special permission to do something. 'Compassionate reasons' include a wide range of difficult circumstances, such as financial hardship, poor health, parentless homes, long commuting distances, learning disabilities, etc.
