how to answer

I went to lab this morning for lab test. It was walk in visit. I have paid money online. When I reached there, They asked me "how can I help you". Then I answered "I have a lab test ".
Is that wrong ? Or how can I reply for that?

I went to a lab this morning for a lab test. It was a walk-in visit. I have paid money online. When I reached there, They asked me, "How can I help you?".

Then I answered "I came here for a lab test. It is pre-paid. Here is my receipt.".

What is the difference between " l have paid " and "I paid" ?

"I paid" makes it absolutely clear that the transaction is completed.

You're telling a story of events that happened in the past, so leave out 'have'. (We don't normally use the present perfect tense to list the successive events in a story.) Also, 'paid' by itself assumes 'money', so leave out 'money'. Also, 'got there' is more idiomatic than
