How to analyze this sentence?

Many teachers believed that students merely engaging in activities and manipulating objects would organize the information to be gained and the knowledge to be understood into concept comprehension.

I would like to know whether my analysis on the bold part is correct.

...organize [the information to be gained and the knowledge to be understood] into concept comprehension.

...organize [A] into concept comprehension..

I think the part [A] is the object of "organize" and "into concept comprehension" is modifying the verb "organize".

As for A, "to be gained" is modifying "the information", and "to be understood" is modifying "the knowledge".

Please check whether I'm correctly analyzing the bold part.

organize [A] into concept comprehension.. I think the part [A] is the object of "organize" and "into concept comprehension" is modifying the verb "organize". Yes, the structure of this part is "organize [A] into [ B ]", where [A] is the object of "organize".

  • organize [A] into concept comprehension..
  • I think the part [A] is the object of "organize" and "into concept comprehension" is modifying the verb "organize".
  • Yes, the structure of this part is "organize [A] into [ B ]", where [A] is the object of "organize".
  • How far "into [ B ]" can be said to "modify" the verb may be debated.
  • However, it can be argued that if a one-word adverb meaning "into concept comprehension" existed, then it could be placed next to "organize" with the same meaning, and would indeed modify "organize".
