How to analyze these sentences?

1.I didn't like him as a boyfriend anymore.

2.I didn't care about him as a boyfriend anymore.

Q1) Is "as a boyfriend" modifying "him" in each sentence

3.I like you as a friend, but not as a person.

Q2) In the above sentence, is "not" modifying "as a person"?

I'd say yes to both questions, but I'm not really sure about my answers, because I'm not a native speaker, so please help me out about whether I'm right.

Of course, it's very easy to understand their meanings, but somewhat hard to analyze them in grammatical approaches.
