How to address Bus, Taxi Drivers?

Hi I have started learning English seriously for the first time. Although I can read well in english, my writing and speaking skills in English is still a problem to me.

I hope participating in this community will help me improve my English in all four set of skills though we cannot speak here. Emotion: big smile
Please do not hesitate point out all or any of the error and mistake even if it is found in my questions.

And now, here is my first two questions?
  1. How do you address the bus driver, when you ask information about the bus route?
  2. How do you address the taxi driver, when you just sit in the cab and start talking to him/her about your trip?
(please also suggest me which (formal, neutral, informal) expression is suitable here)

Thank you very much.
Mike

As in Mr. M's examples, usually we would just start talking without any form of direct address. However, if you need to get his attention for something, you could call him "Driver."
