Teachers, I really need help with the usage of the word "how". In this sentence, "It symbolises the rhythm of life, and how sometimes we need to be patient and pick the right psychological time to speak or act.", what is the meaning of how? Would it be the way (how) or something else? Please help. Thanks so much in advace!

Mister Micawber,

I've come acorss another sentence with the conjuction "how". In this, "One can certainly play with the cards and explore them, but I do not use the cards as a game in terms of how one might think of two or more players coming together for a card game.", is the underlined "how" for "the fact that" as well?

Thank you so much!

I don't think so. To me, it reads: 'I don't use the cards as a game... [in the way that] one might think of...'.
