How should I word it?

00I am putting four objects on the surface of a table: a pen, a knife, a spoon and a watch. They form a "plus" sign; it is not that important which one goes where as long as they form the sign. Can you tell me where they are using prepositions? I think I asked a similar question but didn't get it then. 0-
