How should I answer this question, as to this kind of question?

Q1: Who is he?

A1: He is my boss.

My boss is. ?(My grammar book says this answer is OK. Is that really true?)

My boss is he.?(My grammar book says this answer is also OK. Is that really true?)

Q2: Who is Mary?

A2: She is my sister.

My sister is. ?(My grammar book says this answer is OK. Is that really true?)

My sister is Mary. ?(My grammar book says this answer is also OK. Is that really true?)

Q3: Who is your son?

A2: My son is John.

John is. ?(My grammar book says this answer is OK. Is that really true?)

John is my son. ?(My grammar book says this answer is also OK. Is that really true?)
