How should "for your own benefit" and "demonstrating procedures" be used?

Hi. I urgently need some advice here. Please see the following sentence.
"Please spend a few moment to study the following demonstration procedures and signs for your own benefit."
I believe there is something wrong with it but I am not sure how to revise the sentence.
Should I change "a few moment" to "a few minutes" and "your own benefit" to "for your benefit"?
I am at a loss to modify "demonstration procedures" and not sure about the word "study".
Thank you in advance for your help.

If the phrase is needed, I would move "for your own benefit" to the front:

"For your own benefit, please take a few moments to study the following demonstration procedures and signs."

I find it hard to comment on "demonstration procedures and signs" without more information about exactly what the situation is and what they are studying.

Thank you, GPY.
The sentence preceding the sentence mentioned above is "Your safety is our primary concern."
They will be used as an introduction prior to the demonstration/instructions by staff on where the fire exits are and what to do in case of emergency.

Are the audience watching and listening to a presentation by an instructor, or are they looking at printed instructions?

They would be watching a presentation. It was already done, though. Anyway, I still would like to see what you think the sentence should be.
Yesterday, I ended up with "Your safety is our primary concern. Please take a few minutes to watch the following demonstration and pay attention to safety instructions and signs.".
Was it okay?

That is basically OK. I have a couple of quite picky comments. "Please take a few minutes to ..." tends to suggest that the audience is in control of how long they spend doing
