How on earth to you write a sound for yawning?

I'm writing a story, one of my characters just woke up, and they're yawning, but I don't want to write some thing like...

As Tiromu woke up, he yawned queitly, and found Akuma no where to be found.

Or...

Tiromu woke up, and yawned loudly, as he sat up, he couldn't see Akuma in the room anywhere, and panicked!

Top answer

Except for the 'n', I find the word yawn very nearly onomatopoetic as it is. no where nowhere
