How much I eat
Can one say
a. No matter how much I eat, my weight does not change.
instead of
b. No matter how much or how little I eat, my weight does not change.
?
The meaning of (b) is that the quantity of my food intake has no influence on my weight.
(a) would more normally be used in a case where the person means to say that their weight will not increase if they eat a lot.
But could (a) be used in the other case as well?
Take this conversation
You have to lose weight. Maybe you should eat less.
c. No matter how much I eat, my weight will not change.
Does it make sense?
