I don’t know if however many verbs can be between ’have’ and ’been’ (like in the following sentence), or between any kind of auxuliary verb and verb. It has made me think about it when writing the following sentence, and I don’t know, therefore, if it is proper.

The only words that can go between 'have' and 'been' are adverbs — not nouns! — for example,
There have never been enough raisins in my raisin bread.
