How many subjects here?

I'm looking at this sentence.

"First my daughter, now my wife caught her first fish today."

Does this mean:

- his daughter and his wife both caught a fish today

- he married his daughter

- ambiguous - could be either

- sentence is simply grammatically incorrect altogether
