Try this. Two friends started on a journey with some mangoes. They sat down to eat and they distributed the mangoes in three equal parts, such that even after dividing equally they had one extra, they ate their shares and kept the the third part for later. Next day again they divided the left part in to three equal and still had one extra. Finally they did the same the next and the next and the next day( evry day feeding the one spare to te monkey). After the fifth day they had one left. How many mangoes did they started with? Nav

you said, mangoes divide in three part every fifth day. want to ask : you said they didn't eat the third one at all but feeding the monkey???? that mean they took one for the monkey from the third part or not
oh perhaps i confused everyone. Its like this is 10 divisible by 3? No so you take one away and divide mangoes in three parts of three each the 1 was fed to monkey and the rest three groups that were left. I eat one group , you the second and the third group of three mangoes left untouched for other day. Is it clear now?
soo, it's like this : the mangoes divide three but take one mango first to feeding the monkey sound like if you have 7 mangoes take 1 first, left 6 mangoes then divide 3 part right or false
