How long have [several names] known

The original sentence: How long have they known each other?

Suppose I want to replace 'they' for their real names. The names are Bernard, Jeremiah and Mark. Would it be correct to say... How long have Bernard, Jeremiah and Mark known each other?

Suppose you have to say 'this man', Jeremiah and Mark because you don't remember that one of them is called Bernard, but Bernard is here in front of you. Would it be possible to say...

How long have this man, Jeremiah and Mark known each other? or must I rewrite the sentence as 'This man, Jeremiah and Mark, how long have they known each other?"

What if they are only two people?

I would use 'one another' with more than two, and it would be okay with only two. This is not the only solution, and others may have more suggestions.
