HOW is this grammar correct?

"I'm Australian and travelling is more expensive in NZ than here.keep in mind tho your dollar ( assuming you're American) is worth more and we do not tip, so you're saved 20% just on tips alone ."

What's up with the "you're saved 20% on tips" grammar????

Can't begin to understand at all, yet this is from a native speaker!:)
