How is the meaning different?

I went fishing to the river with my father.
I went fishing with my father to the river.

We have held a concert several times at that hall.
We have held a concert at that hall several times.

I don't think the meanings conveyed by those sentences actually differ. But, I think it should be " in that hall" , not " at that hall" .

I went fishing with my father to the river.

Neither of these is natural English.
I'd say
eg I went to the river with my father to fish.
eg I went to the river to fish with my father.

I would write it this way: My father and I went fishing at the river (bank) / on the river (meaning with a boat)

Take out the indefinite article [a], and pluralize [concerts]
