First of all, I didn't mean to offend you by my remark anbout Mickey Mouse. I really thought that you were asking us a new query, ie how you pronounce the word 'mickey'. I didn't bother to read through your link.

I see now that you are asking if Muecke can be pronounced like 'mickey'.
That would never occur to me.

With 'foreign' names, Englisih speakers just do the best they can or ask 'How do you pronouce that, please'?

In North America, usually with the ck hard, and no e (i.e. to rhyme with Buick). Not sure how it is pronounced in German, but in Polish it is mu-esky (the c is pronounced as an s).
