How is it made

In the restaurant, there's a salad bar, which refers to the place where you find rectangular containers containing vegetables, fruits, and potatoes. If I want to know whether those cubes of potato are baked, fried, or boiled, are they correct?

-How is it made?(=it is made every day in the same way, so the simple present)
-How was it made?(it was made in the past, before my asking, so the simple past)
-How are they made?
-How were they made?
