The question above is exactly I'd put it in my native tongue. But I've got to admit that I hesitate to use such a grammar structure in my non-native English. And frankly, I can't pinpoint the reason of that hesitation.
Is it that the indirect question, a non-finite one, How else to explain the way introduces the whole sentence or is it that there is no inversion here, typical for English direct questions, that I cannot to 'internalize' it?
