Regarding the forums, the first thing you should remember is to log in before you post your next question.

We have a lot of different forums here. For example, you posted this question in the General Grammar Forum. Thus, people usually post questions about English grammar in this forum.

Since you wanted to know how the forum works, however, it might have been better to post your question in the forum called "Help", for example. Also, you should always try to make your questions as specific as possible.

If you want to practice writing, the forum called "Topic of the Moment" might be an interesting place for you. There you can talk about various different topics. You might also find the "Cultural Anecdotes, Similarities and Differences" forum an interesting place to post in.

Look around. There are lots of different sorts of forums. Try out a few of them.
