How does the social media affect young people?

Nowaday, the ’’social media’’ is developing fast and becomes a phrase very familiar in our life. It is used by many people all over the world. however, There are also a lot of benefits and disadvantages that come from social media for people,particularly teenagers. For a lot of people, social media is a tool modern communication because it help they make contact with togerther when they’re not always able to see each other when they want to through facebook , zalo..which are almost everyone use. Besides , Social media also keeps you up to date with things that are going on around the world rather than just in your area. Moreover , when young people have difficult matter or want to reduce stress after work or school . they can use youtube , tv or mp3 to amuse or watch useful program . in addition to , the social media has wonderful tool to study . they update app on smart phone to learn languages such as japan , english , china... However, there are many young people who cannot control themselves and are addicted to social media which effects studying , health or waste time . Firsly , they are using cellphones to surf Facebook, Instagram or chat with friends on Messenger while teachers are teaching.They always check their cellphones or read newfeed on facebook , zalo. Addiction to social media causes a bad habit in studies. Seconly, Instead of going out to meet friends or talk to their parents, these people love chatting with friends on social media. They will just stay at home and update their news on social media. They post status or photos to share with their friends on social media . And last but not least, using social media too much will have a serious impact on health such as : myopia, depression, obesity . In conclusion, social media can have both a beneficial and negative impact on the teenagers of my generation.In my opinion, they should use social media properly , Make it a really useful tool
