Do you have some specific words with these sounds you're having trouble with? We don't have very many sounds, other than vowels, that are formed in the throat: /k/ /ks/ /g/ "-i ng " are the common sounds that I think of.

AnonymousThe sound that you're thinking of is produced solely in the throat and does not involve the vocal chords, the difficulty is in switching seamlessly between chord and throat produced sounds.
