I always hear the the word comprable - or at least that is how it sounds. What is the spelling of the word I am looking for? I dont mean the word comparable.

Are you sure? Pronounced hurriedly, comparable can sound a lot like comprable.

I thought this may be the case - that 'comparable' was pronounced 'comprable.'
