How do you say this?

Hello All,

I'm looking for the expression which means "to turn our plans into reality". I'm sure the one between the quotation marks is wrong, but I can't find the right one. There must be at least one with the word "plan" in it.

Could you, please, help me? Thanks!

Hi

It's quite OK to say..

Opening our office in New York will start to turn our plans into reality

Also, "to realise" is a verb that can be used here to mean "to make real"..

Opening our office in New York will help us realise our plans for international sales

Hope this helps, Dave

Dear Avangi,

Thank you. It sounds quite sophisticated : ) and reminds me that "execute a plan" might be okay, too.

Does "realize a plan" work, though? Thank you!

To me, "realize a plan" is the sophisticated one simply because it's a less-common usage of "to realize." But yes, it works.

"Implement" and "execute" are similar, but I sense a difference.

I think of "execute" as a no-brainer (probably the wrong term).

You can just follow the step-by-step which others have laid out for you.

But often a plan is not laid out in
