How do you put spices in your curry?

Hi

Are these sentences natural, especially the underlined words? Any suggestions are welcome.

How do you put spices in your curry? With measurement/calculation or with a rough estimate/with judgement?

I never measure/calculate my spices; I always put them with a rough estimate/with judgement.

Thanks,

Tom

I never measure my spices; I just know what looks right.

(As someone who cooks, I'd use something like this.)

Thanks, Barbara.

Just to make sure, these sentences do not sound natural to your ears?

How do you put spices in your curry? With (precise) measurement or with just a rough estimate?

I never measure my spices; I always put them with a rough estimate.

The part "with a rough estimate" does not sound at all natural, no.
