Speech & Pronunciation

How do you pronounce "THERE ARE" in fast speech? There're?

There're? Can you put the phonetic transcription? Thanks in advance.

[therA]. I doubt it's the most dubious phrase to be puzzled over.

I am not sure how to write it, but if I had to give a transcription I would say:
there're = thur-ur = /ð???/
Maybe you want to say it really fast you could also leave out some rhoticity:
there're = thuh-ruh = /ð???/

However, native speakers often use "there's" instead of "there're", which is ever faster.

Just my opinon.

Grammar Geek,

Do you have these homonyms:

mere vs mirror
tear vs terror

One of the /r/s in the latter is dissimlited.

And drawer and draw sound NOTHING alike.

What's the difference between them then?

I think /ð?r?/ for 'there are' is very natural pronunciation during rapid speech.
