Speech & Pronunciation

How do you pronounce the letter /s/?

I have had trouble pronouncing the letter S for quite some time.
I have been teased and said it is a lisp.

There is the frequent setence: "Sally sold sea shells by the sea shore"

I have trouble with S in any part of a word.
Someone please respond.
Thank you.

As long as you keep your tongue well away from your teeth you shouldn't lisp - is this what you do?
